It’s Book Lovers Day

It’s National Book Lovers Day........

Fellow bibliophile, lets deluge the social media with the word – #NationalBookLoversDay.
Although its origin is shrouded in mystery, Book Lovers Day is observed annually on 9th August. It encourages you to find your favourite reading place, a good book (fiction or non fiction) and read the day away.
Have you read a book and felt you escaped the world? That is the unique magic possessed by good books. “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free” says Frederick Douglas.
My cousin was saying he wouldn’t mind being locked in a room for a week if he’s given his Phone (with internet access) but for me “a room without books is like a body without soul”- Marcus Tullius.
Well I love books that are insightful, poignant and intellectual. Those that got me almost crazy are: ‘And then There were none’ by Agatha Christi; John Grisham’s The Brethren and  The Confession; Black Boy by Richard Wrights and the most interesting of all is ehm….. ehm…..ehm, that one with one fine cover like this. you must have read it too Kindly remind me in the comment box.
Are you a bibliophile? What books would you read again and again?
I’ll like to get new collection……
